The Aachen Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) has launched the second round of its sustainability award. Companies from the Aachen city region and the districts of Düren, Euskirchen and Heinsberg have until August 1, 2025 to submit their innovative projects and products relating to sustainable business practices. This initiative invites companies to make their sustainable ideas and projects visible in order to lead the way as role models and inspire others to act sustainably. Participation is free of charge.
The projects submitted will be assessed by an independent jury from the worlds of business, science and politics. The three most exemplary projects will be honored on September 25, 2025 at the IHK Aachen. An audience award will also be presented, which will be determined via online voting. The patron of the Sustainability Award is once again Mona Neubaur, Minister for Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Protection and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
MedLife e.V. welcomes this initiative by the IHK Aachen and encourages companies from the life sciences and medical technology sector in particular to submit their sustainable projects. The promotion of sustainable business is a central part of our mission, and we see this award as a valuable platform to make innovative approaches visible!
Further information and the registration form can be found on the IHK Aachen website.
